A Little Sewing

We got a package last week.. from some wonderful friends πŸ™‚

What was inside?

A make-a-bear kit, which the Babe and I sewed up one afternoon. Well, I did most of the sewing, she just snuggled and tugged at the embroidery floss.

She’s pretty sweet, non? The Babe loves her. I even caught her snuggling and rocking her after she was all sewn up.

Though mostly she likes the box πŸ™‚ of course.

And then she figured out that she could put the bear backΒ in the box. She was thoroughly occupied for at least 20 minutes.. and the added benefit of the tin box is that we always know where she is when she plays with it πŸ™‚

The bear has her initial on the front, too. This will be going with the Babe wherever she goes, though I do hope it’s always with us.

Let it be so, Lord.

Thanks, Claytons! πŸ™‚

THAT teddy is amazingly cute. Renee – you’ve got to tell me where you got it! I am in love with it! I can see why baby girl enjoyed it so much!

it’s linked to an amazon page, Kayleen–though I don’t think Renee got it online. (the word “kit” is linked) πŸ™‚

That turned out better than I expecting. πŸ™‚ You have such skill, Anne.

Kayleen, you can do it yourself. You just need felt, stuffing and embroidery thread. πŸ™‚
